Royal Wharfers enjoy getting together to celebrate Halloween by creating a map and trail of participating houses and the lobbies of flat buildings.
It's a unique event that brings us together as a community and creates lasting memories for our children and families!
The Halloween Trail doesn't work unless residents and businesses are willing to host 'stops' along the route.
What does hosting a stop involve? It's totally up to you! But we'd recommend some halloween decorations, and some treats to hand out to the children visiting your stop.
When decorating your stop, please be considerate to our local wildlife. "Fake" cobwebs are known to be a hazard to little birds and animals, and should be avoided.
We'll be asking for volunteers to host stops for the 2025 trail closer to the time.
Interested in hosting a stop? Click the button below to let us know and we'll add you to the Trail Map!
Host a Stop!If you'd like to host a stop, but are struggling with the potential cost of buying treats, please get in touch. The RA is generously funding some treats for RA members to 'kick start' their stops.
This event is on Halloween - Friday 31 October 2025 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
Please note that flats and houses will be open to welcoming trick o' treaters from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Please avoid visiting them outside of these hours as they may have other commitments.
Any apartment residents who would like to participate in distributing sweets should do so from the lobbies of their buildings. This is to avoid having children ringing the wrong doorbells and running through the halls of buildings (and disturbing the neighbours).
Do not enter people’s homes and ask your children not to either. Stay in the lobbies and front porch.
We'll publish a map of the Halloween Trail stops closer to the time.
Please visit a stop only once per child. We expect several hundred children to participate, and it is unfair for the last children to not get a treat if they arrive at a stop after your children have.
Please do not disturb or ring at houses not listed on the trail, as they have decided not to participate.
We're grateful for the following local businesses and associations who have supported the Halloween Trail this year.
The Residents' Association represents over 1,750 residents and leaseholders living in the development. We represent the interests of all members of the Residents Association, to ensure best value for our money, to maintain the development, and to make Royal Wharf the best place to live it can be.
